Frequently Asked Questions

 Who can become a member of the  Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association? 

Any individual who has successfully graduated from The Citizens Police Academy  is eligible for membership.  If you are currently participating in a CPA class you will have the opportunity to join upon graduation.  All membership requests are validated with the Gwinnett Police Department Training Unit.


Why should I join?

- To stay involved

- Continual training opportunities

- To continue to promote community relationship with the Gwinnett Police Department

- Help make a difference


How much does it cost to join?

Dues are $20.00 per year. Renewals are due each year by January 31st


How do I join?

Website signup is our preferred method; however, we do offer you the ability to print and mail an application. Please note credit card payments are only available through website signup.

The signup process will prompt you to provide basic contact information, establish a user account and password, answer some association specific questions (i.e. academy class) and allow you to select a dues payment method.  Payment methods include credit card, cash or check. and Paypal


What if I don't want to use my credit card online?

Online Signup

Sign up online, select payment by check and print the invoice to send with your check.


Printed Application

Complete the application and send it with your check.

How do I renew my membership?
Memberships are renewed through the website.  As your membership nears expiration you will be notified via email and then you simply log into the website and renew your membership.  You again have the ability to pay your membership dues with a credit card, cash or check and Paypal..  If paying with cash or check simply print a copy of the invoice at the end of the renewal process to be presented with your payment.  Either mail or bring your renewal payment to the next meeting, or, mail to:

Is my personal information secure?
Yes, any personal information provided to the CPAAAG either written or electronic will be used for association specific purposes only.  Additionally, the website provides you full control over what information is shared with other members.
